Honestly this is a hidden gem in the UCLA Engineering building (Boelter)! Personally I have visited a few times but not purchased anything, but the deals are great as a student. They have the typical food that college students can live with: ramen, chips, coffee, etc.
Next to the SEAS Cafe is the Engineering Society of UCLA's lounge, which is a decent study spot or, if no one is studying, a great place to chill. The convenience helps a struggling engineering student power through his or her exams or just the effort to complete problem sets. -

SEAS is a gift from heaven to south campus majors.
This café is a slim little space tucked away in Boelter and is probably as no-frills as you can get. It is entirely unsophisticated outside of their pretty sign. But it holds the greatest treasure a sad south campus student could want- cheap as heck coffee.
SEAS offers a variety of coffee and related beverages at dirt cheap prices. They also have breakfast specials, lunch deals, and even a happy hour right before closing to make your purchase even cheaper.
Obviously this place is nothing fancy. It's mass-produced self serve coffee with a tiny corner store/convenience store vibe. But for a lot of people, especially during finals, a caffeine fix is not a want but a need, and it's not worth being picky to spend all those extra dollars at ackerman or southern
For people who need a little boost but don't want to pay too much for it, this is your place. -

I go here every week. Sometimes every day. And sometimes multiple times in a day.
Most of the time it's to get a quick coffee before a 2-hr lecture, but I occasionally get the scones if they're available. It's cheap coffee and does a good job. If I went to Peet's every time I needed a caffeine hit, I'd have even more crippling student debt than I already do. -

SEAS CAFE IS LOCATED ON THE 5TH FLOOR OF BOELTER HALL AT 5800W.
This place is soooo low key but SO GREAT. It has cheap items, perfect for any broke college student! Coffee is made fresh every morning and a special price (on top of an already cheap price) if you buy a pastry with your coffee, Coffee is 50 cents!
They have a section for drinks, granola bars, chips, sandwiches, pastries, and of course coffee. The pastries are packaged (and therefore not baked fresh) and include bagels, mmuffins, scones, croissants, cinnamon rolls, and other things i cant remember.
I come here almost everyday but remember this place is only cash! When i get a coffee its around $1 and with a pastry its $2. Affordable and the perfect wake me up! -

Great place for a cheap coffee and quick in between snack. They only take cash!!! However, they have all the necessities to make your own ramen. They also contain cheap snack and drinks. It is also student run and created.
The cafe could be expanded more for some in cafe studying.
Pro tip: bring some cash.
